"Stars in the Grass" by Ann Marie Stewart

"Stars in the Grass"
by Ann Marie Stewart

I was hooked from the start! Great Read!
Below is my review of the book, which doesn't do it much justice as I do not want to give away any details or spoilers!

Wow, what a story! I was sucked in from the beginning and didn't want to stop reading. The story is heartbreaking, funny, and sad, all at the same time, and is definitely worth the read.

The story is about a family who experiences a tragedy; how and what they suffer, and wondering if they are going to survive as a family.

I love the writing style, feeling like you were right there witnessing it all. The book was easy to read and seamless from chapter to chapter as the family stumbles along and tries to figure out how to move forward, wanting to but also too afraid.

The story is told from the perspective of Abby, who is nine. She suffers and watches helplessly as her family is broken down and is seemingly going to be torn apart and destroyed by the pain. So many details are woven in and out of the story that you feel like you are Abby, things she knows, family traditions, and how she is lost.

Each family member is working through the tragedy in their own way. Her father is a Pastor who can't preach, her mother is at first numb, but realizes she needs to go forward, her brother is angry and is headed for trouble. We watch it all through Abby's eyes.

Even though this book sounds sad, it it not hopeless and it is not depressing, just a wonderful read.  Throughout the book I was laughing and crying at the same time.  Nine year olds are very honest and innocent.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Hydropeptide Lumapro-C

HydroPeptide LumaPro-C
Skin Brightening Pigment Corrector
Skin Brightener
Vitamin C + Resveratrol

How does HydroPeptide LumaPro-C work!  Let me tell you I'm pleasantly surprised!
What is it and How does it work?

I was able to sample a full-size product through BrandBacker that I received free of charge.  I have been using LumaPro-C for several weeks and when comparing a before and after shot I can really  notice a difference.  It's a subtle change, not necessarily noticeable on a daily basis, but compare!

Here is my 'selfie' after using LumaPro-C for a few weeks.  My skin tone is much more even, and has corrected my age spots and any hyperpigmentation from sun damage or post-acne.  My skin has a more radiant appearance, it just looks brighter, with an even tone.

Here is my 'before' photo - You can see my face has different tones, and is maybe 'pasty' white, lots of red spots, but not bright!  I think there is quite a difference.

HydroPeptide LumaPro-C is a pigment-correcting serum, a drug-free formula that will safely brighten your complexion!  It contains three peptides to improve skin radiance and health while reducing pigmentation.  I has eight brightening ingredients that address existing hyperpigmentation and block pigmentation in the future by blocking factors that cause an uneven complexion.
LumaPro-C also contains a stable form of Vitamin C, which provides instant brightening.

Hydropeptide is offering a 20% discount code to use a LumaPro-C purchase!  Use code BBLUMA20 to receive your 20% discount and shop here:

Simply use your LumaPro-C twice daily (morning and night), after cleansing, then follow with your usual moisturizer.
It comes in great container, with a pump top.  One pump is enough for your entire face.

I just love using this product and feel like I'm doing something special for my skin, skin tone, and overall well-being!  It's worked super for me, my skin appears so much brighter and even.

LuvSome Dog Food and Baked Biscuits

LuvSome
Dog Food & Baked Biscuits

Luvsome Dog Food - Natural and "Perfectly Balanced Nutrition for your Dog!"

Luvsome Dog Treats - Baked Biscuits - Pumpkin Cranberry Recipe

I received the above items free through Crowdtap.  - Delicious (my dogs thinks) biscuits and a coupon for free bag of dry dog food which I found at Kroger!  And a cute green foam ball for fun!  Although the items were free, the opinions here are my own!

The biscuits are Pumpkin Cranberry recipe -  and they actually smell good!  My dog actually ate them - he is super picky!  After breaking in to smaller pieces (he has a few missing teeth).  The biscuit was not like a brick, but light and easy to break in to smaller pieces for him.

I searched a few stores for the dog food, but should have checked on-line - the dog food is sold at Kroger in my area!  Received a nice 3.5 lb. bag of dog food (they also have puppy food).  The bag indicates it is Natural - with added vitamins and minerals.  They also state "Perfectly Balanced Nutrition For Your Dog", which all sounds wonderful!
So, will he eat it?  Main question!  Answer -- yes he will (and he hates dog food!)

I'm happy to say - two days running he has eaten all the dry food in his bowl!  I do have to mix his dry food with some wet (tooth shortage, remember!) to soften it.  Generally, the dry I have in the bowl is left and the wet food is gone.  This isn't the case here, the wet food and the LuvSome dog food are both gone!  Yay!  I think he actually likes this food!
I'm very happy - if this is the case because he has to have a mixed diet - too much dry food--he doesn't eat enough, too much wet food-digestion issues.

Thanks LuvSome so far - we Luv the food and treats!  And we love the cute little ball to play with!  I also saw you make a wet food - so I'll be trying that soon!

I received free product but opinions and experience are 100% true and my own
