Oak Leaf Copper Wire String Lights #Oakleaf

Add a fun and festive touch to your home with Oak Leaf Copper Wire String Lights!

I am a huge fan of lights and fun decor.  These cute little string lights from Oak Leaf are perfectly suited to my taste!  The lights come on a thin copper wire and are battery operated! Super easy to use and use them anywhere.

Right out of the box you can see that these are going to be cute!
You get two sets of lights!  The white attached battery compartment with a simple on/off switch!

Here is what they look like out of the box and on my table!
You can see the brightness and the delicate size of the copper wire!

Here are the details!  I have found these to be high-quality and quite bright!  They are individual LED lights on a heat insulated copper wire - and in the product description it is indicated that they will not overheat after continuous use!  The copper wire is thin, flexible, and easy to shape and use anywhere.  Because these are battery operated, your options are wide open, string them anywhere - or put them in or on anything that needs a fun, festive look!  This set comes with the required CR2032 battery, so these come out of the box ready to use.  I also note that the light sets come with a 3 year guarantee!

Warm-yellow LED's are individually mounted along the string, they super bright, and they make me happy just having them on!  It's fun in the living room while watching a movie, a great night-light in the bathroom or bedroom, perfect for holiday or party decorating, or just enjoying at home with your family!  I gave my daughter a set which she has molded around her bed frame and around her desk shelving.  I can't get over how easy these are to use and how, such a small little item has such an impact on your room!

Here is what the battery compartment looks like - with a teeny black switch on the side to turn off and on!  Totally unlimited options because these lights are battery operated and not dependent on an electrical outlet!

I think the best way to describe the fun of using these lights is to just show you!

Pretty as a table centerpiece

I received this product at a discount, to use, test, and provide an honest review! These opinions are completely my own and completely honest!  I am positive that I will continue to enjoy these Oak Leaf lights for a long time, and would love to have a few more sets!  #OakLeaf

Totchos Night! Thanks to OreIda!

Thanks to OreIda and influenster I received a coupon in the JingleVoxBox for a bag of OreIda Tater Tots - yum and who doesn't love a good tater tot?  The idea behind the free bag was for everyone to make and share a Totchos recipe, pictures of your Totchos, and join in on the Totchos craze!

I immediately put this item on the shopping list and checked out the internet for some Totchos ideas!
I wanted to make a fun dinner that I knew we would all like!  My recipe really mirrored a taco or burrito but in place of the taco shell or wrap we piled it all on the OreIda Tater Tots!  What a fun idea, one I would not have thought of, and it was very tasty!

First step in the making of my Totchos was to
bake the Tater Tots!  Yum!  These are good right
out of the oven!

Here is how our Totchos Turned out!

Basically some taco meat - hamburger and taco seasonings
browned in the pan.  Cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream!  A side order of tortilla chips and salsa and you have Taco Night in a whole new way!  Easy, Tasty, and Family Friendly!

My family loved our OreIdaTotchos, and the beauty of this idea is you can customize it to your family's tastes, and to what ingredients you might have on hand!

Ore Ida Tater Tots was one of many great products in the #JingleVoxBox

Banish Dry Itchy Skin with Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

Does your skin suffer in the cold, dry Winter air?  Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream can help!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream comes in a nice little tub, is easy to use and doesn't feel greasy!  I had the opportunity to try it as it was in the JingleVoxBox that I was fortunate to receive from influenster.

My hands always suffer in the fall and winter and I've tried many lotions and moisturizers to combat.  Have you ever had your skin chap or split?  It's uncomfortable and it hurts!  My skin can also feel dry and itchy.  Cetaphil is capable of taking care of all these problems.

The product description indicates that Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream contains "extra strength emollients and humectants clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss."

While testing and using this product I found instant and long lasting relief of my dry, tight skin.  I have used this on my hands, my face (especially under my eyes and cheek area) and my arms and legs.  I focused on using this on my hands and other dry areas of my skin.  It releases the tightness and soothes my dry, itchy areas.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a white, slightly thick cream.  You'll find the thickness of the cream makes it easy to apply and allows it to soothe as you rub it in.  It is also fragrance-free, non-irritating, and non-greasy.

In conclusion, I think Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a definite skin care must have, a very useful and beneficial product that really works.  I appreciate the non-greasy, soothing and healing to my skin.  I also like the long-lasting moisture , so there is no need to re-apply it as often as with other products.  The non-irritating, mild, and fragrance free formula makes it useful for all skin types, including sensitive skin, very dry skin, and relief from eczema.  It's also perfect for elbows, knees, and other dry areas.  I highly recommend!

I received this product complimentary
for testing and review purposes
from influenster, but all opinions
are my own!

I'm so happy to find a great
new product!  #Cheerphil

KISS True Volume Lashes

Well, I've never used 'fake' eyelashes before and wasn't sure how to even begin applying these!  The #JingleVoxBox came with a set of KISS True Volume Lashes and a tube of adhesive!  So I read the directions, checked out the pictures, and re-read the directions!  The 3-step process sounded easy enough - looked easy enough - on the package!  But how does one apply these precisely where they need to go?  How about if you are a person who wears glasses and is far-sighted and can't see your eyes or eye lashes without your glasses?  Hmmm.   But this is one of the products in the voxbox and I'm going to try it and I'm going to earn that badge!

Three simple steps!  And that is pretty much the truth...after a few failed attempts, and some trial and error.  Just like everything in the world.

Three easy steps - 1.  Check fit, lay them on your natural lashes and trim if necessary.
                              2.  Apply KISS adhesive to the lash band, wait 30 seconds for the adhesive to become slightly clear and tacky. (In my case I was given black adhesive and this might have added to my failure in the beginning!)
                              3.  Apply lashes along your natural lash line.  Hold allowing adhesive to dry completely.

That's it, no biggie!

I was given a tube of KISS strip lash adhesive with aloe - BLACK.  I think the black adhesive is what made this more difficult.  I fitted the lashes, they were perfect length - check.  So far, so good!  Apply adhesive to the lash band - check.  Again, so far, so good!

Strip Lash Adhesive with aloe

Apply adhesive to the lash band

So far looking good.  And eventually it was - in this picture above I think I put on about 3x the amount of adhesive needed - I waited for the required 30 seconds for the adhesive to become tacky and applied to my natural lash line!  The excess black adhesive was pretty much everywhere.  On my fingers, holding the lashes as they were trying to hold the lashes in place - smeared on my eyelid, etc.
Not an attractive picture.  Plus I couldn't really see because I need my glasses for this up-close technical work!

Failed attempt #1, of which there were a couple more.  So I put them away for a few days, feeling really un-ladylike!  This should be a hereditary ability, a no-brainer, I am a woman after-all.  This should be an ingrained and natural talent.  And maybe it is, but not if you can't see.

So, undaunted, and after a great idea came to me - I went to the 20x magnification mirror in my daughter's room!  Aha - this should help me see!  And it did help!  Along with the fact that I didn't need much, hardly any, adhesive.  Less adhesive, less smearing and smudging!  Yeah!  I got them to work!  They went on - they stayed on!

So here they are - full pretty lashes - on top of my natural lashes!  Once you get them on - you're gonna love them.

I would recommend these when you are going to attend a special event, party, holiday gathering - when you really want that festive extra! Or anytime you just want to feel or look special!

KISS True Volume lashes really filled in my natural lashes - but didn't seem obvious and gaudy.
They just improved what was there - they look amazing and you feel pretty amazing with them on!

I was given the KISS True Volume Lashes and Adhesive in the JingleVoxBox from influenster to try out the products and share my opinions, pictures, and review!

JingleVoxBox from influenster! #JingleVoxBox

One of my favorite things to see in my inbox is that email from influenster, the one that says "Congratulations - you've been selected..." - it always makes me smile!  A little excitement, something fun, and always a box full of pleasure!  There is usually a mix of new and old, products I've used, some I've never tried, and something I didn't know about.  This is where the fun comes in. Learning about the brands, the merchandise, the food, and then trying them all!

In this case - it was the JingleVoxBox - a Christmas gift to me from influenster!  The JingleVoxBox came in a pretty holiday gift box!  So cute, and again, so fun!  Even the printing on the box was festive - "A gift for you, lovely!"

influenster didn't let us down - the JingleVoxBox was full of great items!  Here is an unboxing list of what was given in this mission:

1.  Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream - A nice little tub of moisturizing cream, thick and moisturizing!            The labels states:  "immediate and lasting relief of extremely dry skin!"

2.  itty bittys from Hallmark!  A cute little character plush for kids!  These are very sweet and very          soft.  I was given a "Spiderman" itty bittys toy.

3.  One bag of OreIda Tater Tots - given in the form of a coupon for a free product.  Can't wait to            redeem this because we love our Tater Tots!

4.  Pure Ice Nail Polish - Home Run!  A pretty light off-green color!  Very festive for the Holidays!          This polish went on my nails smoothy and did not clump or get sticky and dried quit quickly!

5.  NYC City Proof 24 Hour Waterproof Eyeliner - color 932 - Dark Brown.  I have used this a                couple of times so far - it is a pencil-type eyeliner that twists up as you need it and glides on                smooth!

6.  Biscoff cookies!  These are crunchy and sweet and super-delicious with coffee!  There is nothing        not to love about these cookies!  I was given 3-2 packs!!

7.  Kiss Eyelashes - True Volume - 100% Natural Hair - Natural Plump.  Kiss Eyelashes are know to      resemble real eyelashes with their tapered ends!

8.  Kiss Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe - Secure Hold, Dermatologist Tested, Formaldehyde-Free.            The package states "the natural way to wear falsies!"

Such a great mix of products and I'm having fun learning about them and trying them out!  I was given this box from influenster to try the products to review and share about them!
