Aerostar AC & Furnace Filters
The Aerostar filters, pictured above, are very sturdy and so much more substantial than the thin fiberglas filters I usually buy at the home supply store! The filter material is so much thicker and the construction of the frame, which is made from heavy duty cardboard, is very sturdy and strong.
The frame is built very well, and is reinforced all along the edges and both sides of the filter.
As soon as I received these I replaced the filters I had in my furnaces (I have two) and am always shocked at the dust and debris caught in the filters! I am feeling very confident in the Aerostar filters I received as they are much better quality, thicker filtering material, and sturdier than what I normally purchase.
My furnace fits the 16x25x1 size filter. Above you can see I am inserting a new Aerostar filter into my furnace. A perfect fit! The filters are even marked with the arrow to the air so you know you have them in correctly for optimal filtering.
I am anxious to improve the air quality in my home, we all suffer from mild to moderate allergy symptoms and these #AerostarAirFilters are able to filter lint, dust mites, mold spores, pollen, pet dander and dust!
The recommended filter change is every 60-90 days, which is longer than the once per month on the filters I usually buy. During peak usage months you may need to change every 30 days.
These filters have a MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values (MERV) rating of 8, which is the top of the recommendation list for non-commercial buildings.
They are made in the USA.
