Quaker's New Steel Cut Oatmeal

Looking for something new for breakfast?  I have a new favorite to recommend!  Quaker has a new type of instant oatmeal out that is really tasty, hearty, and quick!  Steel-cut Oatmeal!  I was given a sample to try and share my opinion from BzzAgent and Quaker.  I sampled, and have subsequently purchased, the Brown Sugar & Cinnamon flavor.  You can also purchase the Steel-Cut Oats in Blueberries & Cranberries flavor.
What is Steel-Cut Oatmeal?  These oats are cut instead of rolled so you get a thicker whole-grain texture!  The package contains single-serving pouches and are ready in 3 minutes, just add water!
They are very satisfying, keep you from feeling hungry until lunchtime, and it's a nice warm way to start your day!  Add 2/3 cup of water to your oats, use a deep bowl to prevent bubbling over, and set the microwave to 3 minutes, 50% power, and voila you have a delightful breakfast!

Desange Paris California Blonde Collection Review

I was given the opportunity through influenster to try the Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection to sample and review!  I'm so glad I did, what a great experience.  In my VoxBox came a collection of three products, wow, how fun and exciting!  Who doesn't love trying new beauty products!  Below is a picture of my "unboxed" box!

The Dessange Paris California Collection is designed to nourish, moisturize, and protect color treated blonde hair. According to the information provided to me from influenster and Dessange "blonde is a fragile shade that can lose its luster, fade, and weaken with time."  Therefore, this collection targets the blonde specifically and addresses these issues, to condition your hair and make it shine!  It is also enriched with passion flower extract and gives you impeccable shine for a brilliant blonde color.  The collection is complete with Shampoo, Conditioner, Illuminating Elixir, and Brass Color Correcting Creme.  I was given all but the Illuminating Elixir to try.  

The shampoo has a thick and satiny feel and lathers well.  My hair was cleaned gently and felt soft and smooth.  Just a sweet hint of fragrance.  After shampooing I used the conditioner, which had a slightly stronger scent, but still light.  I left the conditioner on my hair, after rubbing it throughout, for a couple of minutes.  After rinsing my hair felt just great, so smooth and silky.  The information I was given states the conditioner "wraps hair with moisture from root to tip, smoothing and taming dry, unruly strands."  This is exactly what my hair felt like.  I was very impressed, love the soft, silky feel and the soft sweet scent.  

After using both of the products above, there was the Brass Color Correcting Creme to try.  Package directions indicate you should leave on hair for about 5 to 10 minutes to correct unwanted brassy color.  I twisted open the lid and was surprised to see the deep purple color!  After applying and massaging through my hair, I left it on for about 5 minutes.  My hair has never been so nourished!

The packaging directions say to use this as a weekly treatment, it contains linseed oil and blue pigments to neutralize brassiness and nourish your hair!  

I have been using this collection for about two weeks, my hair looks and feels so much healthier and stronger.  I have dried it, used the flat iron and it still feels soft!  I have also noticed it holds the style and shape better, and no fly-aways.  I'm definitely sold and will be using this collection!  I plan to purchase the Illuminating Elixir to use as a leave-in treatment  in between uses of the weekly Color Correcting Creme.  I understand this entire collection is used in salons and is available at Target!

The photo above is what my hair looked like on most days before using the Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection.  The bottom half of my hair was very dry and didn't always hold it's shape.

Below are some shots of my hair after using this collection for about two weeks. You can see it appears healthier, shinier, and has much more body.. ...volume and shape.

So, to summarize my opinion on this collection, the Dessange Paris California Blonde Collection is a winner, a great quality product!  Giving you silky soft, nourished hair with a soft sweet scent!

New Year - New Me?

I'm so anxious to get started on my New Year's Resolution!  I really have two goals!  One, to lose a few pounds, like the standard resolution.  I need to find the oomph to get started.  That's the battle for me, committing to it, and starting.  Two for me is organization!  My house has spawned various piles of papers, and stacks of documents!  Most need to be sorted, filed, and put away.  Probably the rest need to be shredded and tossed!
Which of my resolutions are more pressing?  Both, one helps the other.  When my house is clean and organized, I have a much happier, carefree disposition, and I'm more likely to feel free to take that walk, or go out and do something.  Which helps the lose some pounds idea.
I haven't found the best weight loss program for me, I've tried so many over the years.  I have seen results from all of them, just not "over the top, amazing" ones.  Any of the diets I've tried work, but there are so many, which one is right, which one is "easiest" to stick with, which one gives you the best results quick!?  This is what is holding me back so far in 2015!  Committing to one or the other!  I've tried the points system, but you need to have the support, which involves money.  I've tried the Low-Carb, which works, for a time, then you have to cheat, and it's over!  I've tried, just being good, eating salads, taking walks, that works, some...
So here I am...still waiting to start!
As for the organization...I've begun!  I've purchased some folders, files, and a few desk supplies to get me started.  I've moved all the papers and miscellaneous items to one location!  I have already shredded a basketful!  Woo Wee!  Getting somewhere!  Now I just need to decide,,what to do with those school papers?  What to do with all my receipts?  What about the pieces of mail, things I want to think about?  What about, what about, what about!

Scott Naturals Tube-Free!

I'm excited to be able to join in on a sample/share from Scott's, I'm a member of the Simply Scott Squad!  I will be sampling the Simply Scott, Scott Naturals "Toss the tube" product.  I'll be reporting here once I get the product.
I'm bringing this up no, prior to receiving, because this is no ordinary toilet paper!  This is a tube-free product, which means, no tube to throw away!  No tube!  Sounds like a great idea no one has thought of until now!  I have heard about this and read some posts about it, but so far have been unable to find this in any store!  Can't wait to try.

Zep Cleansters!

I was given the opportunity to try some samples of Zep cleaning products.  I hosted a little party and the Zep was provided free to sample and to share with my family and friends.  This was through Crowdtap and #ZepCleansters #TryZep and #sponsored!
I was given 5 sample size bottles of Zep All-Around OXY Cleaner and Degreaser and Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant!  What a generous sample/share!
I have to say both of these products are great!  I've posted some pics below so you can see the before and after comparisons.
I used the Quick Clean Disinfectant in the bathrooms, countertops, doors, doorknobs.  This worked amazingly well, very little effort on my part, and no noticeable strong cleaning product odor!  I also like the disinfectant part - especially this time of the year.
I used the All-Around OXY Cleaner and Degreaser in my kitchen and on my carpet.  I waited for my kitchen to get noticeably dirty and messy and my stove to have a little build-up.  Then I went in with the All-Around OXY.  I was happy again with the results.  I have a black stove and generally I have to wash it a few times to avoid leaving streaks.  This I didn't have to do with this product!  The other amazing result I was able to get was a big black oil or grease spot on my carpet.  I sprayed it, dabbed with a towel and it was lifted off the carpet.  Easy as pie!
I was unfamiliar with Zep before Crowdtap and I am happy to discover them.  I don't see this product on the shelves where I normally buy my cleaning supplies, so I will seek it out.  Visit zepcommercial.com for more details, products, and tips!  I also posted my reviews on their Facebook page, under the reviews tab.

Tazo Chai - #SweetMeetsSpicy

This tea is really delicious!  Tazo Chai!  Enjoy it now, perfectly timed with the cold, damp weather of Fall.  I have tried three flavors of the filter bags, Tazo Chai, Chai Vanilla Caramel, and Chocolate Chai!  My favorite is the regular Chai, it is smooth and great tasting, like their saying #SmoothMeetsSpicy!  It has the perfect blend of spicy and sweet, smells delicious and tastes even better.  It is a soothing beverage on a chilly day.  All three varieties were very flavorful and the aroma is amazing.  Soothing to hold the cup in your hands and enjoy the warmth and the aroma.  I shared a few of the tea bags with friends and bough a box with the provided coupon and left them in the break room at work!  

I love to "fix a cup" in the evening when I'm relaxing, or when I feel a chill (like after walking the dog!).  Delicious and soothing.  

I also purchased the Latte Concentrate, this is so good, and simple - just add milk!  I mix it half and half with milk, warm in the microwave and it's good to go!  Pour it in your travel mug and you're off!

Vaseline-more than 5 days later!

Just checking back in like I said I would!  I'm beyond 5 days with the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair.  The label says "Clinically proven to heal very dry skin in 5 days.  I'm liking the way my skin feels soft, not dry, and not greasy.  This is a great product, perfume free and is doing what it says it will do.  I have been using it after my shower and times in between on hands and arms, and it's working for me!  Must be the micro-droplets of Vaseline jelly!  These opinions are mine, even though I was given a sample to test and review through influenster.  #VaselineVoxBox
